This irks me to no end. Rabbi Wohlberg at Beth Tfiloh has had two great sermons so far about the movie. You can read the first or the second by clicking on the links.

Posted by: natan at March 20, 2004 09:21 PMDid you really expect him to say anything different?
Posted by: Rob at March 20, 2004 09:36 PMThere is no doubt a level of immense hypocrisy in Arafat’s comments; however, you seem to be linking Mel Gibson to him. It’s unfortunate that the message of grace and love gets lost in the rhetoric of converging and diverging theologies. Fortunately, these sermons do give the Christian some thoughts to chew on and for that I thank you for posting them.

I was not trying to make a comparison between Gibson and Arafat in any way. I was simply expressing how annoyed I was that Arafat's opinion is even counted for anything here. I would love to hear your thoughts on what R' Wohlberg had to say!
